replace literallycanvas, or maintain it?

Hello, I am thinking about using this whiteboard app heavily within Nextcloud, but now I found out it is based on http://literallycanvas.com/ (also here https://github.com/literallycanvas/literallycanvas ) which is not maintained anymore and does not release new builds.

Are there any alternatives? Is https://browserboard.com/ an option? See also this discussion with some ideas https://help.nextcloud.com/t/is-possible-have-whiteboard/19061

Or can we find someone who can maintain literallycanvas, especially fixing the build?
